HIKING IN THE ZILLERTAL
The Zillertal offers easy and intermediate hikes close to the valley floor or with a little assistance from the lifts - this is one of the most variety-packed hiking destinations you're ever likely to find.
The palette begins with hikes close to our picturesque valley floor which, in contrast to most other Tyrolean valleys, barely climbs at all, only branching into four side valleys when we get to Mayrhofen: the Zillergrund, Zemmgrund, Stillupgrund and Tuxertal. Each of these hikes affords beautiful impressions of the surrounding region.
Which means, no matter what brand of hiker you happen to be, you're guaranteed to find something perfect for you ... hear something? ... that's right, the mountains are calling!

TENNIS IN THE ZILLERTAL
If you're a fan of rackets and balls, the Zillertal offers you numerous possibilities on both in- and outdoor courts.
In Stumm, you have three outdoor courts (sand) to choose from. If you wish, you can even get a little coaching on your fore- and backhands. During the winter months, tennis players generally head for the indoor courts in Zell am Ziller.

SUMMER SKIING - THE HINTERTUXER GLACIER
is an exciting experience 365 days a year - for skiers and snowboarders, but also for day-trippers and hikers who take full advantage of quick, convenient access to the high mountains.
